What it does
Localo combines local keyword maps and Google Business Profile management with audits, guided tasks, content publishing and review tools. Agency features support client access, reporting and multiple profiles.
Localo's grid uses a fixed GPS point in each cell and a consistent zoom level. It measures organic positions within the chosen area, excluding ads. Keep the keyword and map settings stable between reports; a result on your own phone can differ because Maps personalizes what it shows.
Monitoring and Optimization serve different needs. Monitoring covers rankings, visibility statistics and content management. Optimization adds the audit, prioritized tasks, AI Agent and directory tools. Single Business includes Optimization; Pro lets you select the profiles receiving it. Disabling Optimization frees the slot at the next billing period, so moving that work between clients takes planning.
Create a Localo account to begin the fourteen-day trial without a credit card, then connect the Google Business Profile you manage. Paid subscriptions renew monthly or annually. In a service-area business, inspect nearby grid points together before treating one weak position as a problem across the whole area. Use the profile audit to choose a specific correction and keep monitoring the same keyword set afterward.
Strengths
- Documents a consistent local-ranking measurement method.
- Separates ongoing monitoring from deeper profile optimization work.
Watch out for
- Organic grid positions do not include sponsored results or personalized Maps views.
- An occupied Optimization slot cannot be reassigned immediately when it is disabled.
Best for
- Local businesses and agencies managing Google Business Profile visibility
