What it does

LogiSense supports subscriptions, usage rating and hybrid billing for communications, software and connected-service businesses. Teams can combine catalog prices with customer-specific terms and make billing start depend on time or actual use. A 30-day evaluation includes platform access, prepared examples and guided orientation.

Build prices around the service

A catalog can hold recurring, one-time and usage charges. Account-level overrides cover a negotiated customer price without replacing the standard offer. Subscription charges can change with states such as Active or Suspended; usage charges use rate plans and allocation buckets. The account's currency must match a configured price currency before a package can be assigned.

Start billing after a defined event

Billing Activation connects a package to a special service and bucket. Set an elapsed-time rule, a usage threshold, or both. When both are present, whichever happens first activates billing. This can give a connected device a setup period while starting charges once actual usage reaches the agreed threshold.

Each package can have one Billing Activation service. Its bucket must be non-recurring, contain one tier with a zero flat charge, and use no overage rate plan. Adding the package can provision the service before billing starts; qualifying usage must be processed to trigger a usage rule.

Evaluate the platform

The 30-day Test Drive includes round-the-clock access, prepared pricing examples, an orientation and access to private consulting sessions. Ongoing implementation and commercial terms are arranged with LogiSense.

Strengths

  • Timed discounts can use a fixed amount, percentage or replacement price
  • Application interfaces and event notifications connect billing to external systems

Watch out for

  • A package needs a price configured for the customer's account currency
  • Billing Activation permits only one activation service per package

Best for

  • Service providers aligning charges with device activation, customer onboarding and metered use
