What it does

LogRocket combines session replay, product analytics, UX analysis and error information. Its platform connects funnels and paths with individual replays and technical context, and includes surveys for collecting feedback.

Create an account to get an app ID, then install LogRocket through a script tag or npm package and initialize it in the browser. Choose Conversion Funnel as the metric type and define steps with URLs, clicks or custom events. Set whether completion must happen in one session or can span several visits, then select a bar to inspect the matching sessions.

The Omnibar applies filters across pages; a metric’s own filters affect only that chart. Save a useful replay filter as a segment to reuse it later. Some filters, including time between events, begin gathering results only after they are saved.

Paid subscriptions are based on recorded sessions, with a 14-day trial that does not require payment-card details. Seats, retention and add-ons also affect the quote. Settings > Plans shows your actual allowances. A documented free survey tier permits three active surveys with 100 responses each; this does not establish a free replay allowance.

Strengths

  • Funnel data can be exported as CSV, including grouped results.
  • Replay includes technical context such as errors and network activity.

Watch out for

  • Several advanced filters cannot query earlier sessions.
  • Funnel comparisons with a previous period cannot be combined with Group By.

Best for

  • Product and engineering teams investigating interface friction together
