What it does
London Type Foundry publishes LDN families and guest-designer projects, alongside custom type and lettering services. Standard desktop, web, app and ebook licences use one-off fees for perpetual access within the purchased scope.
LDN Mental Block is an all-capitals headline face with Plain and Linear styles. Its stencil-like shapes can act as graphic elements, while Clerkenwell Script and Westminster Text serve very different roles in the wider catalog. On Mental Block’s Test drive, replace the sample with your own text, select the style and adjust the size before opening its purchase options.
Buy now lets you choose a single font or the family, then set desktop users, average monthly pageviews, app titles or electronic-publication titles. Continue with View Cart, and enter the final licence holder separately from the billing details if buying for a client. The licensing page confirms immediate downloads after purchase. Desktop files are OpenType; web packages provide WOFF and WOFF2.
Web coverage includes the registered domain, its subdomains and language variants. A desktop licence covers static images on a website and PDFs that are not sold; commercial ebooks and magazines need ePub rights. Gaming, merchandise, digital advertising and broader corporate arrangements require a quote. The foundry also offers retail-font modifications and extensions when the project needs an added character or other change.
