What it does
Loops is an email platform for software businesses. It combines broadcasts, product-triggered workflows and transactional email, with contact properties and events keeping audiences synchronized with the product.
Loops shows a useful onboarding pattern: a new contact receives a welcome, then branches according to whether activation has happened. Someone who has not finished setup can receive a different message from someone ready for the next feature. Contact properties and events supply that distinction.
A team can begin by backfilling contacts through CSV, then use an integration to keep them current. Themes and reusable components carry the brand's colors, typography and spacing across messages, so editing the next onboarding email does not require rebuilding its layout.
Pricing follows subscribed contacts; unsubscribed contacts do not count toward the paid contact price. Paid sending includes transactional email without a separate send charge. Free stores unlimited contacts but sends only to the first 1,000, with 4,000 marketing and transactional emails combined in any rolling 30-day period. Free emails carry Loops branding. Password resets and newsletters both use that shared allowance.
Click Start for free to create a Loops account. Paid sending starts at USD $49 per month for the 1,001 to 5,000 subscribed-contact bracket, with unlimited marketing and transactional sends. A smaller list can also choose a paid plan voluntarily.
