What it does

Loox collects customer photo and video reviews for Shopify stores and displays them in storefront widgets. Review requests, referrals and channel syndication depend on the plan. Its Beginner option is free within an order limit; paid plans add features and capacity.

A seasonal rush can leave some Loox review requests unsent. Beginner allows 2,000 request emails per month, one per order. Excess requests wait for the next billing cycle, but those delayed more than 30 days are marked missed. Reminders and other follow-up emails have no such quota.

The current Shopify listing gives these prices in USD, with recurring charges every 30 days:

Plan Base charge Order allowance
Beginner Free Up to 500 orders after the trial
Convert 49.99 300 per cycle; another 50 per additional block of 300
Unlimited 299.99 No order quota

Beginner becomes unavailable once its post-trial order threshold is reached; this is not a fresh allowance each month. Convert has no review-request email ceiling, but its order-based bill can rise. Check Settings > General > Your Plan to see the subscription and View all plans to change it.

Convert adds video reviews, bundle reviews, referrals and wider syndication. Convert and Unlimited offer 14-day trials. Installation requires a Shopify account and a selected store.

Strengths

  • Photo and video reviews can appear in several storefront displays
  • The quota guide distinguishes queued requests from requests that will never be sent

Watch out for

  • Beginner requests expire after a 30-day queue delay
  • Convert adds a charge for each further order block

Best for

  • Shopify merchants budgeting review collection around changing order volume
