What it does
Luakit is a configurable WebKitGTK browser framework with a documented ad-blocker interface and Lua-based behavior customization.
Luakit gives a power user control through Lua rather than a large settings dialog. Its official page shows the blocker settings and active filter lists and describes the browser as an extensible framework. That is useful when you want browser behavior to be part of a versioned personal configuration.
The project warns that the WebKitGTK package needs separate attention. Its examples naming particular distributions are dated September 2019, so check your current engine package and Luakit package together.
