What it does

Ludo.ai is a browser-based platform for game pre-production. It generates 2D sprites and sprite sheets, icons, UI, textures, backgrounds, sound effects, music, voices, 3D models, and short video clips. It also offers game idea generation, project planning, an in-app assistant, and custom tutorial generation. Assets export in common formats and import into Unity, Godot, Unreal Engine, and other engines.

Free accounts get 30 credits with no credit card required. On the free plan, sprite sheet downloads include a Ludo watermark on each frame; preview videos and other asset types are not affected, and the watermark is removed retroactively after subscribing to any paid plan. The Sprite Generator takes a text prompt or one character image and returns a PNG grid plus an optional JSON descriptor, with GIF, per-frame, and MP4 exports. Directional Sprites renders up to eight directions from a single 3D model. Developers can reach the same generators through a CLI, an MCP server, a REST API, and a Unity plugin, all sharing one account and credit balance. The documentation states the platform does not create playable games or prototypes; it speeds up research, ideation, and asset generation.
