What it does
Ludus AI is a plugin for Unreal Engine 5.4 to 5.8 on Windows, macOS and Linux. It reads the project, including Blueprints, C++ classes, assets and levels, and syncs changes as you work. It generates C++ code, Blueprints, scenes, 3D models, materials, animation, sound and VFX, and answers UE5 questions using the project as context. You log in from app.ludusengine.com with Google, GitHub or Discord, activate a trial or a plan, then install the plugin for each engine version you select. Assets land in the Content Browser and every change is staged for approval. Setup and usage steps are covered in the documentation.
The plugin installer lists the Unreal Engine installations it finds, and each engine gets the plugin in ENGINE_FOLDER/Engine/Plugins/Marketplace/LudusAI. You must reuse the same login provider for every future login; accounts created before April 19, 2025 must use GitHub login. On first run Ludus checks the project for Git or Perforce and warns if neither is present. On Windows, an engine under C:\Program Files needs administrator rights to write to, and the installer offers to restart elevated. Supported engine versions are Unreal Engine 5.4 to 5.8. The site lists capabilities including Blueprint generation, debugging, character animation, rigging, material and sound generation, image generation, 3D modeling, Behavior Trees, PCG graphs and UMG widgets. The documentation covers the plugin interface, web app interface, settings, agent, account and data security.
