What it does
LuxSci Secure Email documents automated SecureLine encryption, transport and storage protections, role-based access and an API with webhooks. It is marketed to healthcare organizations with existing business systems.
LuxSci handles organizational mail through API, SMTP and webmail inputs, with SecureLine selecting a delivery method for each recipient. Its products also expose API/webhook integration for surrounding systems.
The technology guide distinguishes three routes. SMTP TLS protects transfer between compatible mail servers without necessarily encrypting the message internally. SecureLine Escrow requires identity verification before access through a web portal. SecureLine PKI internally encrypts with PGP or S/MIME certificates and needs a recipient using PKI. Those different recipient requirements matter when configuring the delivery policy.
