What it does
MacRumors publishes Apple news, reports about forthcoming products, software updates, buying guides and a discussion forum.
Rumor reporting and confirmed release information answer different questions. The site is useful for following both, provided the article's attribution and publication date are part of the reading rather than treating every headline as an Apple announcement. The footer offers Full Articles and Featured switches, layout options and Auto/Light/Dark modes. Buyer’s Guide, roundups and forums are separate from the front-page reporting.
