What it does
MagellanTV streams documentaries and series across history, science, nature and true crime, with ad-free plans and supported offline viewing.
Plans share the same ad-free documentary catalogue, with billing cadence as the main difference. Browse by subject or use a curated playlist, then check the purchase options offered for your location. Individual programme rights still vary by country.
For casting, sign in with an active membership, put the phone and receiver on the same network and use the film-description Cast icon. A direct subscription is cancelled through the website’s profile menu; in-app billing is cancelled with that platform. Access continues to the paid period’s end.
Strengths
- The plan explanation separates billing cadence from catalogue access.
Watch out for
- Not all programmes are available in every country.
