What it does

Mailazy manages newsletters, contacts and email automations while your own SMTP provider handles delivery. Its Free plan includes one team member, 1,000 contacts and 5,000 emails per month, plus one automation and one event rule. Delivery-provider charges are separate from Mailazy's plan.

Mailazy's standard automation starts when someone joins a selected list. Each step is an email with a template and a wait; the first wait is measured from joining, and later waits follow the preceding email. The visual canvas allows reordering and pausing the journey. This suits a straightforward introduction series where the sequence itself is the main requirement.

Live edits have different effects. A changed subject or sender applies to queued mail, but a new template does not, and added steps reach only later joiners. Standard automations currently have no branching and do not track opens or clicks. Conditions and exits based on product behaviour belong to Enterprise's Behavior emails.

Add your SMTP provider's credentials in Settings; you pay that provider directly for delivery. Mailazy's monthly and annual subscriptions cover the workflow software, with these limits:

Plan Team members Contacts Monthly emails
Free 1 1,000 5,000
Pro 2 25,000 100,000
Business 5 Unlimited Unlimited

Free includes one automation and one event rule. Pro removes those two limits, while Business adds single sign-on and white labeling. Your SMTP provider's limits still apply even when Mailazy does not cap sending. Use Start free to create an account, then upgrade when needed.

Strengths

  • The automation canvas exposes the order and wait for each email
  • The team can keep its existing SMTP delivery provider

Watch out for

  • Standard automations have no branching or open/click tracking
  • Live template changes and new steps do not retroactively update all enrolled contacts

Best for

  • Product teams wanting newsletter and simple onboarding workflows over their own SMTP service
