What it does
Mailcoach combines email campaigns, segmentation, split tests, automation and transactional templates. Its hosted usage model is based on sent emails rather than contact count, with a self-hosted option also available.
Mailcoach's cost model fits a large contact list that is contacted selectively: hosted billing starts at EUR €9.99 per month including 2,000 emails, then adds usage charges. Contacts, lists and automations are unlimited. Tags, custom fields and conditions can organize that audience into relevant segments. A membership organization could keep separate interests without paying simply because the full directory is stored.
The platform also edits, sends and tracks transactional templates through its API. It supports integrated providers such as Postmark, Mailgun, Brevo and Amazon SES, or an SMTP server. A team chooses either Mailcoach sending or an integrated provider for that team rather than mixing both.
Hosted usage is invoiced monthly and cannot be prepaid for a full year. Developers who want the tools inside their own infrastructure can consider Mailcoach Self-Hosted, which the vendor describes as suited to a Laravel application. Self-hosting puts server maintenance and the sending-provider connection under your control.
Choose Start 14-day free trial to evaluate the hosted service; no credit card is collected for those 14 days. An account is required. The monthly base charge means it is not a subscription-free credit service; VAT is excluded from the displayed price.
