What it does

Mailercloud combines email campaigns, a visual editor, segmentation, automation and reporting. Its monitoring tools add inbox-placement and sender-domain information to ordinary campaign activity, and AMP components support interactive content in compatible email clients. Its permanent free plan includes 1,000 contacts and 12,000 monthly emails.

Mailercloud presents campaign activity and delivery monitoring as different views. An open or click report describes recorded recipient activity; the Inbox Tracker is intended to show placement across supported mailbox providers. These reports answer different questions: a delivery confirmation alone does not show which inbox folder received the message.

The content workflow includes reusable templates, mobile and desktop previews, and an HTML editor for custom work. Automated sequences can start from actions such as clicks or custom events. AMP components add forms and other interactions for supported clients, so the ordinary message still needs to explain the intended action clearly.

Free includes 1,000 contacts and 12,000 emails per month, with no card required at signup. Paid marketing plans are contact-based and advertise unlimited marketing sends under fair use; advanced automation capacity differs by tier. The transactional Email API is a separate pricing choice. Both products can run from one account, but they have separate allowances and charges.

  • Template previews and custom HTML support different email-production needs

Watch out for

  • Free access has contact and monthly-send limits
  • Paid unlimited marketing sends remain subject to fair use
  • Advanced automation capacity differs across plans

Best for
