What it does

MailerSend provides an email API, SMTP relay, template builders, activity logs and suppression management. It handles bounces, complaints and unsubscribes while letting you inspect them by account or domain. The ongoing Free plan sends 500 emails per month but requires account approval and a payment card.

When an address stops receiving MailerSend messages, inspect the suppression category before changing templates or sending again. Hard bounces, spam complaints and unsubscribes are added automatically; recurring soft bounces go onto a temporary on-hold list. Known addresses, domains or matching patterns can also be blocked manually.

A team operating several brands can filter suppressions by domain and export them for use in another system's blocklist. That is a practical way to keep an opt-out or failed address visible when email systems coexist. The free plan includes 500 emails per month, one sending domain and one day of activity retention. Longer history and more domains require a different package; extra usage and some verification or domain additions have separate charges.

Signup starts a 14-day trial of Professional features. After account approval, activate the continuing Free plan in Plan and billing by entering the organization's address and card details. The card is required to prevent abuse; MailerSend says it does not charge for the Free plan. Hobby raises sending to 5,000 emails per month at USD $7 billed monthly, or USD $5.60 per month billed yearly.
