What it does

Mails.ai provides an email API for AI agents. Each agent gets an address for sending, receiving, and replying. The service includes SDKs, REST API, MCP, inbound parsing, signed webhooks, test mode, and a free tier.

Signup sends a magic link, needs no password and no card for the free tier. The free tier covers 3,000 emails and 3,000 inbound replies a month. A test key runs the API without sending real mail or billing, and [email protected] answers within about a second. Test mail is deleted an hour after it is sent. Inbound mail is scored for prompt injection and arrives with sender reputation. Replies, deliveries, and bounces can be delivered by signed webhook or live stream. Agents can read received mail, threads, and attachments by API. Custom domains are available on paid plans. Dedicated IP is available on Scale.

Free pricing caps outbound mail and inbound replies at three thousand monthly, and sending stops at the cap. That is a complete two-way email workflow with an explicit execution boundary; injection-scanning effectiveness is not tested.
