What it does
Malwarebytes Privacy VPN uses WireGuard and is offered through Malwarebytes apps for Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
Malwarebytes identifies AzireVPN as the infrastructure partner behind its Privacy VPN. That relationship matters when comparing it with a direct AzireVPN subscription: the app, account and bundle are Malwarebytes products even where network infrastructure is shared.
The page lists WireGuard, a built-in kill switch and device allowances that depend on the plan. Check the VPN entitlement within your existing Malwarebytes offer before adding another subscription. The provider describes its network infrastructure as diskless.
The Privacy VPN section of Malwarebytes' policy distinguishes its free and paid service. Free access uses per-account bandwidth totals to enforce a thirty-day usage allowance. The policy says a paid upgrade stops that tracking and deletes the usage data; it does not track websites, DNS or IP addresses for that process. Licence identifiers, app version and the client's WireGuard public key are separate activation and connection data. The current platform and allowance attached to your app should still be checked before relying on the free offer.
