What it does
The Map of Early Modern London connects a historical map with an encyclopedia, text library, gazetteer, person records, bibliography and glossary.
A place on the map can become the starting point for investigating a text, person or institution. The linked reference records connect spatial questions with historical writing. The available site is a static 2022 release, which makes its edition information useful when citing a particular record.
