What it does

SEO Pro Extension by MarketingSyrup is a free on-page and technical SEO inspection application for Chrome and Firefox. It brings metadata, canonical and robots hints, heading hierarchy, links, image alt text, status information and structured-data views together, with CSV exports for further analysis.

SEO Pro is free, with an optional donation and no subscription. Install the Chrome or Firefox extension, open the page to inspect and use Overview for its title, description, canonical URL and robots instructions. A canonical pointing elsewhere or a noindex hint deserves investigation in the page's intended publishing context.

Use Headings to inspect the H1-H6 tree, then export it to CSV when comparing related templates. Status shows response codes and redirect chains. Links separates internal and external links, and image exports include dimensions as well as alt text. These are useful details to attach to a specific repair request.

Check whether a Core Web Vitals result belongs to the page or the whole website. SEO Pro first requests page-level mobile field data, then falls back to origin data when the page has none. If neither dataset exists, it reports no information. An origin result cannot establish the performance of that individual landing page.

The Schema view shows structured-data types and entities present on the page. Seeing that markup helps inspect implementation, but does not guarantee a rich result or indexing.

Strengths

  • Combines several page-inspection views in one free extension.
  • Exports headings, links and image details for a more focused review.

Watch out for

  • Core Web Vitals can fall back to origin data, or be unavailable when neither dataset exists.

Best for

  • SEO practitioners inspecting landing pages and sharing concrete on-page findings
