What it does

moneyplex is Matrica’s banking software for accounts at supported institutions. It downloads records through German HBCI and FinTS banking connections and keeps them available for offline review. Windows, Mac and Linux versions are sold as software licenses.

A local account history lets you review older transactions without remaining signed in to a bank. Income and expense diagrams can span that retained history, while categories and rules help organize entries. Accounts can also be brought in through QIF, MT940 and CSV files.

Saved recipient details reduce repeated payment entry, and automatic backups help retain the local records. Live account retrieval and payment submission still need a connection to the bank. Its supported authentication method matters: a code used on the bank’s website is not necessarily compatible with its FinTS connection.

Choosing an edition

Version 20 edition Single-operating-system license Users CSV export
Standard €49.90 1 Not included
Professional €59.90 2 Included
Business €139.90 Unlimited Included

All editions support multiple banks and an unlimited number of accounts. Business adds batch payments, foreign-currency payments and report or search-result exports. Prices include VAT; physical delivery or hardware can add charges. The Windows, Linux and Mac bundle has separate pricing.

The download page provides installers and offers a trial serial number by email request. For an existing installation, license details are under Info, then Benutzer. Paid edition selection and the serial number determine which functions are available.

Check the bank’s current connection guidance before buying for a specific account. Matrica’s support notices describe bank-specific FinTS changes and preview builds, so compatibility cannot be assumed from the bank’s name alone.
