What it does
Matrixify imports, exports and updates Shopify products, customers and other store data using spreadsheet files. Merchants can check a file with a dry run or schedule recurring jobs. It requires a Shopify account and offers a continuing free Demo plan for small imports and exports.
Use Matrixify's Dry Run to inspect a file before a real Shopify import. It checks basic structure and format and can convert a supported source into the Matrixify template. It cannot reproduce every error returned by Shopify during an actual import.
For a recurring source, set Schedule on and Repeat every together. The start time follows the store's time zone, including daylight saving changes.
The published prices are in USD per 30 days. These are product and customer allowances for each import or export:
| Plan | Price | Products per job | Customers per job |
|---|---|---|---|
| Demo | Free | 10 | 10 |
| Basic | 20 | 5,000 | 2,000 |
| Big | 50 | 50,000 | 20,000 |
| Enterprise | 200 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
These are not monthly item quotas. Other data types have their own limits, and Shopify's restrictions still apply. Demo, Basic and Big run one import and one export at once; Enterprise permits two manual jobs in each direction. Further jobs queue.
Strengths

- Result files can be uploaded to a configured FTP or SFTP server
Watch out for

- The app cannot bypass Shopify-imposed limits
Best for
- Shopify operators preparing bulk catalog changes or repeat data exchanges
