What it does
Matt Hafner's WiFi Analyzer helps identify wireless-network problems and compare channels or access-point placement from Windows devices.
Use the Momentary graph to compare channel overlap, or the Time graph to watch signal strength change as you move. The thicker curve marks the connected network; disabling More colors highlights overlapping networks. Band selection does not guarantee the adapter can see that band. The developer documents hardware-dependent link-speed fields and a Windows UWP API limit on detecting channel width. Version 2.8 adds 6 GHz support on Windows 11, and newer Windows 11 builds require location permission for the Wi-Fi APIs. The basic app is free; detailed graph labels, network details and per-channel counts are Pro features. This is Matt Hafner’s Windows app.
