What it does

Rocket is a Mac emoji picker that completes typed shortcuts, with optional custom shortcuts, symbols and text snippets in Pro.

Rocket completes emoji names while you type in a Mac application. Begin with a colon, enter the name and choose a suggestion; the free shortcut window also lets you choose a preferred skin tone. Pro adds browse-and-search, custom shortcuts, GIFs/images and text snippets. Setup requires macOS Accessibility access. Browser-control permission has a narrower role: the help says Rocket still works without it but cannot automatically disable itself on websites with their own emoji picker. For custom GIFs and images, keep the added files in a permanent folder because Rocket reads those originals to insert them.
