What it does
AceMoney Studio keeps a personal transaction register on Windows, Mac or Linux, with no required account. Studio Free includes imports and up to three financial accounts; the full edition adds budgets, reports and investment tracking. The desktop ledger works offline, with optional bank feeds.
An existing ledger can come across as QIF, OFX, QFX or CSV, or as an AceMoney Classic JSON or XML export. Once the records are in the register, split a mixed purchase across its categories instead of assigning the whole payment to one. Scheduled transactions cover expected bills and paychecks.
Studio Free has no time limit. The full edition costs US$69.99 once for two computers and includes 12 months of updates. Activate it in Settings > Activate license using the key and purchase email; the same installation becomes the full edition. Continued updates are an optional US$24.99 per year, while the purchased version keeps working without renewal. UK and EU purchases have VAT added at checkout.
For automatic imports, every desktop edition can use your own SimpleFIN account, which is a separate service. AceMoney also offers optional Cloud services, but a cloud subscription is not required to maintain the local ledger.
