What it does
MediaCMS is an open-source media publishing system supporting video, audio, images and PDFs, with channels, playlists and role-based access.
A team can organise a library into channels and use public, unlisted or private workflows instead of publishing every upload openly. The official page also describes captions, chapters and a built-in trimmer. Self-hosting provides control, but deployment and ongoing operations remain part of the project.
