What it does
Melodics offers progressive instrument practice with lessons on rhythms, chords, melodies and drumming skills, organized through a guided path.
Melodics makes the next practice task part of a sequence. Follow the path for keys, pads or drums and repeat a manageable lesson before attempting a harder stage. Song lessons provide another way to use the skills. Check device compatibility for your setup before planning a routine around the app.
The app runs on Windows, Mac, iPad and iPhone, with iPhone limited to drums. Compatible MIDI instruments can be connected or mapped; a computer keyboard is an alternative for starting. A trial uses a payment method and falls back to a limited free plan if cancelled.
Watch out for
- Android, ChromeOS and Linux are unsupported; the iPhone version is drums only
