Mercado Bitcoin gives the same purchase different controls through Rápida, Clássica and Pro. Rápida is the short purchase flow; Clássica and Pro include an order book, limit orders, stop-limit orders and charts.

On the website, select Comprar, open the Criptoativos category and choose Negociar beside the asset. Select the trading mode, then buy or sell. Purchases take an amount in reais; sales take an asset quantity. The next screen confirms the operation. A market order uses the available offers, so its final price can differ from the initial display. Crypto prices can fall after a purchase.

For registration, use Criar Conta and provide an active email, CPF, birth date, requested documents and a bank account in your name. MB accepts applications from age 12 under its account criteria. It excludes US citizens, US tax residents and users making bank transactions from the US.

Different routes have different costs

For Clássica and Pro, the first volume tier charges 0.30% maker and 0.70% taker. Rápida fees depend on the transaction amount and can reach 3%; its price can also include a spread of up to 2%. Pro crypto-to-crypto trading has zero trading fees.

Opening an account has no charge, and new accounts receive a 48-hour trading-fee promotion. That does not make all subsequent trades free. An inactive balance below R$50 attracts R$3.90 per month after 12 months without activity. BRL deposit and withdrawal limits depend on verification.
