What it does
Meteora provides Solana liquidity pools for traders, liquidity providers and token-launch teams. Its DLMM pools divide liquidity into small price intervals and vary fees with conditions. DAMM v2 pools use a different pricing model and represent each position with a token that controls it.
Meteora is especially useful for comparing how liquidity is distributed, not just finding a token pair. In the DLMM Dynamic Terminal, the left panel shows base and dynamic fees, bin spacing, liquidity and token information. The chart and current positions sit in the centre; position controls are on the right.
Choose Create Position, enter a deposit amount and select a distribution: Spot spreads liquidity evenly, Curve concentrates it near the active price, and Bid-Ask places more toward the edges. Set the minimum and maximum prices and liquidity slippage. Show cost details separates refundable position rent from non-refundable bin-array costs before Add Liquidity. A narrow range needs closer monitoring because price can leave it.
To acquire the other asset for a pair, use the pool's Swap tab or open Jupiter Terminal from the bottom-left icon. Check the pool price against the broader market and review Swap info. Meteora's displayed price-impact calculation excludes the swap fee.
Trading costs depend on the pool. DAMM v2 combines its configured base-fee mode with any dynamic fee, while DLMM responds to volatility. A connected Solana wallet is required. The terms exclude users in several territories, including the United States, China and Russia. Public programming interfaces and TypeScript and Rust developer toolkits support integrations.
