What it does
Yandex Metrica is a website analytics service for traffic sources, visitor activity, goals and conversion reporting. A site tag supplies the measurements, while additional integrations can bring in commerce, offline and call data. Basic use is free, with a paid Pro package for expanded quotas and data-access capabilities.
Start with a Yandex account and create a tag for the site's domain. Set its time zone and currency, then install the code across the measured pages. A later time-zone change does not alter historical timestamps. Related domains can share a tag; Receive data only from specified addresses filters out events from other addresses.
Track a particular enquiry form
Open Goals > Add goal, choose Form submission and give it a name. Select Specific form, enter its page address and use Go and select a form to pick the highlighted form. Save with Add goal, then check its activity in the Conversions report.
This goal can count unsuccessful submission attempts when validation fails. It requires a supported HTML form and submission event; a changed page structure can break recognition. A form with the same ID on several pages is tracked across those pages. For a confirmed successful submission, Yandex describes using a JavaScript event goal when the form's own behavior cannot be adjusted.
Basic access and Pro pricing
The basic service is free. Pro adds expanded data-access capabilities, including higher allowances for its reporting and raw-data APIs, which connect Metrica to other software.
| Pro purchase route | Monthly price for up to 500 million hits |
|---|---|
| Certified partner | From RUB 300,000; partner quote applies |
| Yandex Cloud Marketplace | RUB 350,000 |
Marketplace usage above that allowance costs RUB 25,000 per additional 100 million hits. Hits include pageviews, goal completions and session-parameter submissions across all attached tags. The tag's Settings page shows last month's total under Yandex Metrica Pro Information.
