What it does
Metricool combines social publishing, channel analytics, competitor monitoring, reports and an inbox. Its brand-based organization lets teams separate clients or businesses while planning and reviewing their social activity. Free covers one brand and 20 published posts per month, while paid plans add brands and reporting tools.
For a business with several locations, Metricool's brand model determines the setup. Each brand represents one business, client or location and permits one profile per network or advertising platform. Each Google Business Profile location needs a separate brand.
Open the profile menu, choose Connections and select the brand before authorizing its accounts. You need the relevant administrator or owner permissions. In Planning, use the plus button or a calendar date, choose the social profile, add the content and time, then select Schedule. The same brand holds its messages and performance data.
Metricool can import up to 30 days of historical data when a profile is connected. Follower counts and Stories have different collection limits and do not backfill from before connection, so an older account will not instantly produce a complete history for every measure.
| Plan | Monthly starting price | Included brands at that price | Useful distinctions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free | EUR 0 | 1 | 20 published posts per month, 5 competitor profiles and 30 days of analytics |
| Starter | EUR 20 | 5 | LinkedIn, PDF/PPT reports and unlimited analytics history |
| Advanced | EUR 54 | 15 | Roles, approvals, API and Data Studio connector |
| Custom | By quotation | Agreed with Metricool | Tailored capacity |
Paid prices here use monthly billing before VAT; annual billing and larger brand allowances are available. Free excludes LinkedIn and X. X access has an additional charge on eligible paid plans. Free's post allowance resets on the first day of the calendar month and counts published posts, not drafts.
Combined reporting across brands uses the Advanced plan's Data Studio connector. Register with Google or email and password; a new email account must be activated through its confirmation link.
