What it does

MetricsWatch offers email-based client reporting and a separate Alerts product for analytical-data monitoring. Reports combine source data for scheduled delivery; Alerts monitor configured conditions and send notifications through supported channels.

MetricsWatch puts the report itself in the recipient's email, so a client does not need to open a PDF or sign into a dashboard. Connect sources such as Google Analytics and advertising accounts, start from a report template, and preview the result with your own colors and commentary. Delivery can run daily, weekly or monthly.

Reports and Alerts are separate subscriptions. A report is a combination of sources and recipients; an alert is a monitoring rule.

Reports plan Report allowance

Each Reports plan allows unlimited data sources. Alerts has its own limits:

Alerts plan Custom rules Detection interval Notifications
Basic 3 15 minutes Email
Starter 10 10 minutes Email and Slack
Professional 30 5 minutes Email and Slack
Enterprise Unlimited 5 minutes Email, Slack and custom channels

The trial lasts 14 days without a card. Create an account with email and password to configure reporting or monitoring. Receiving an emailed client report does not require that authoring account.

Strengths

  • Delivers scheduled analytical reports directly by email.
  • Offers monitoring rules separately from report-delivery capacity.

Watch out for

  • Reports and Alerts require separate subscriptions.
  • Detection intervals and notification channels depend on the Alerts plan.

Best for

  • Teams coordinating recurring client reports and analytical-data monitoring
