What it does
Microanalytics reports pages, referrers, campaigns and conversion goals. Its website script supplies activity, with event details and exports available for further review.
Microanalytics reports traffic sources, pages, campaigns and conversion goals in a compact hosted dashboard. It suits a small site that wants to connect visits with a defined outcome, such as a guide download or completed enquiry.
Create an account with name, email and password, then add the supplied tracking code to the site's header. Signup does not require a credit card. Device, browser, location and event details provide additional ways to examine the activity, and exports or its API, a connection for custom software, can carry results into another report.
The subscription comparison pairs pageview and website allowances:
| Monthly pageviews | Websites |
|---|---|
| 25,000 | 10 |
| 200,000 | 50 |
| 1 million | 100 |
Email reports, exports and API access appear in each displayed option. Plans can be changed or cancelled; paid features remain available until the end of the billing period.
Watch the pageview limit. Microanalytics emails a warning as usage approaches it, then stops tracking when the allowance is exhausted until you upgrade or the next billing period resets it. That tracking gap will leave visits out of the reports.
Strengths
- Connects traffic sources with defined conversion goals.
- Offers data exports and API access for reporting outside the dashboard.
Watch out for
- Tracking stops at the monthly pageview limit until an upgrade or reset.
Best for
- Small website teams following traffic and a few useful goals
