What it does

MindsHub offers an inference API that reaches chat, embedding and decision models from several providers through one key and one bill. Developers point the OpenAI or Anthropic SDK at the MindsHub base URL and switch models by editing a model string. A console manages API keys, members, roles, model access, budgets and billing. The site offers a free account and a demo console tour.

The docs list three chat request formats: Chat Completions, Responses and Messages, so a model can be called through OpenAI or Anthropic SDKs. A decisions endpoint handles classification, scoring and yes/no judgments with Jev decision models. Guides cover streaming, tool calling, structured output, reasoning, images, web search, prompt caching and conversation state. Coding agent pages cover Kimi K3 in Claude Code, MindsHub in Codex and MindsHub in VS Code. New organizations get a recurring weighted allowance on mindshub_air, and billing docs cover included allowance, wallet and prices. The about page states the product was renamed from MindsDB in 2026 while the company kept the MindsDB name and was founded in 2018 in Berkeley. Core agent technology is published as open source, including the Anton agent harness. MindsHub Agents is described as an agent workspace for research, analysis, reporting and software work.
