What it does

Minhas Economias combines personal accounts and cards with monthly budgets, alerts and goals. Transactions can carry categories, subcategories, tags and family-member labels. Manual records remain free; the paid Meu Clube subscription adds automatic bank connections through Brazil's Open Finance system.

A family-member label answers who the spending belongs to, while a category answers what it was for. Minhas Economias keeps both, with rules available for repeated classification.

To create a monthly limit, choose Criar Orçamento Mensal on the home screen, or open the budget card under Controle financeiro. Enter the total, select categories and divide the allowance between them. Choose whether the plan applies only to this month or repeats, and optionally set an alert threshold such as 80%. Finish with Concluir limites.

To revise the total later, open Controle financeiro > Ver mais, use the three-dot menu and choose Editar orçamento total. Save the revised limits, repetition or alerts with Salvar alterações.

Create a login and password to use the service. Meu Clube costs R$24.90 a month or R$199.90 a year and offers a seven-day trial. Purchases and cancellations are handled through the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can continue with manual account and expense records without subscribing.

Strengths

  • The browser portal accepts the same login used in the mobile app.
  • Goals provide a separate place to follow money set aside for a planned purchase.

Watch out for

  • The current app does not import CSV, OFX or spreadsheet files.

Best for

  • Brazilian households analyzing spending by both purpose and person
