What it does

Minswap is a Cardano exchange for wallet-based token swaps and liquidity pools. Alongside market swaps, it supports limit and stop orders with different execution conditions. Trading uses a compatible Cardano wallet and incurs pool and network costs.

A limit order lets the price determine whether a trade runs. In Minswap, select Limit, choose the token pair and paying amount, then set the target price and order duration. Place order opens the wallet signing step. Active requests appear under Your orders, where individual or selected orders can be cancelled. Reaching the price condition is necessary; submitting an order does not guarantee a fill.

A stop order behaves differently: reaching its trigger turns it into a market order. The Stop form accepts the amount, trigger and expiry. Gaps or slippage can produce a different execution price, so a stop is not a guaranteed sale at its trigger value.

For a straightforward swap, the current trading page provides Market and an Aggregator control, with paying and receiving amounts. Use Connect to choose a supported wallet such as Eternl or Lace. MinWallet is also available for people creating a Cardano wallet.

Minswap lists its batcher charge as zero. Pool trading fees and Cardano network costs are separate: removing the batcher charge does not make every swap free. Pool fee governance allows approved managers to change the rate for their pool. Check the route and receipt for the particular order rather than assuming a single permanent percentage.

Strengths

  • Limit orders include price and duration controls
  • Active orders can be cancelled individually or in groups
  • Separate stop and market order behavior

Watch out for

  • Limit orders may remain unfilled
  • A stop trigger does not guarantee the execution price
  • Pool rates can change through fee governance

Best for

  • Cardano traders who need price targets and expiry controls
