What it does
Action! records Windows screens, gameplay and capture devices, with webcam overlays, commentary and live-streaming options.
The Selected Application mode can isolate one application while blacking out the rest of the desktop, useful when recording a demonstration from a busy workstation. Device capture also supports a webcam or USB/HDMI source, with a logo and microphone commentary added to the programme. Time-Shift provides a hotkey route to saving a recent gameplay moment.
It is Windows software with a trial and lifetime licence option. Choose the recording mode and supported hardware encoder for your own setup, and check the current streaming destination directly: the long product page retains names of older third-party services.
