What it does
MistTrack provides address-risk indicators, labels, transaction graphs and monitoring from SlowMist. Free Light tools sit alongside paid investigation plans, compliance functions and an API with purchased usage credits.
Enter a blockchain address to inspect its risk indicators and transaction graph. Double-click an unexpanded node to add its incoming and outgoing connections, then click a connecting line for the underlying transfer details. Address labels identify known services and other reported associations; inspect the actual transactions before treating a connection as a finding.
The graph's Monitor option accepts an email address for transaction alerts. Favorites and monitoring also help retain addresses for later work. The Report control lets users submit a category, explanation and supporting image, with MistTrack reviewing the report rather than automatically treating the accusation as established fact.
Free tools and paid access
| Plan | Price | Main scope |
|---|---|---|
| Light | Free | Community tools |
| Basic | $229 per month | Entry subscription with a seven-day free trial |
| Standard | $689 per month | Bridge and exchange parsing, plus a tracing canvas |
| Compliance | $2,069 per month | Ongoing screening and risk analytics |
The Developer offer starts with a $20 pack for 100 API calls, valid for a year. That is a quota purchase, not unlimited annual access. A separate Standard API trial costs $10 for 48 hours and is limited to one purchase per user; it should not be confused with Basic's free trial.
Risk scores reflect MistTrack's data and classification rules. They support screening and investigation, but do not by themselves prove a legal violation, identify a person conclusively or promise recovery of lost crypto.
Strengths
- The tracing graph can be narrowed and sorted around a particular investigation
- Address profiles combine labeled connections with transaction activity patterns
Watch out for
- Developer credits expire after one year
- The separately advertised Standard API trial is paid
Best for
- Analysts tracing a transaction path before investigating an address further
- Developers adding a bounded volume of address-risk checks to an application
