What it does
MockDrop is a free device-mockup site with photographs of phones, tablets, laptops, displays and watches. Select a scene and place the screenshot on its screen. Listings show image dimensions and photographer credits.
MockDrop starts with the photograph. Browse a device category, open a scene and click its screen or drop a screenshot onto it. The download button then saves the composite. MockDrop says this processing happens inside the browser without uploading your image.
The dimensions beside each scene help you prepare matching proportions. A 750 × 1334 phone view needs a different capture from a 1920 × 1200 laptop screen. Many scenes depict older hardware, including the iPhone 6 and iPhone X, so choose a frame that fits the project. Photographer credits accompany the images. The site permits free use but prohibits reselling its images.
Strengths
- The scene itself is the screenshot-placement target.
- Dimensions and photographer credits are visible in the catalogue.
Watch out for

- The supplied images cannot be resold.
