What it does
MockFrame is a browser editor for placing app screenshots inside device frames and photographed scenes. It exports images for social posts and app-store listings, with video and higher resolutions on Pro. Free image exports carry a badge and have personal-use rights, apart from one store screenshot pack for a real app release.
Drop or paste a screenshot into the editor, choose a phone, tablet, laptop or watch frame, then set the layout and background. Download PNG, JPG or WebP using a preset size or your own dimensions. The free editor works without an account and keeps drafts in the browser; signing in enables account saves and device sync.
Free includes HD images and every device frame. Pro removes the MockFrame badge and adds photographed scenes, MP4/GIF export and image output up to 6K. The annual plan is USD 59.99, shown as about USD 5 per month, before local taxes.
Pro exports have continuing commercial rights, including client work, after cancellation. Most free exports are personal-use only. The exception is the first store screenshot pack from a free account, which covers one app release and its related listing updates. To use an earlier free mockup commercially, upgrade and export it again.
Strengths
- The free image editor and exports do not require an account.
- Device frames, layout presets and custom canvas sizes share one workflow.
Watch out for
- Free images normally carry a badge and exclude commercial use.
- Video, photographed scenes and 4K or 6K output require Pro.
Best for
- App launch and feature-announcement visuals
