What it does
MockupFree provides layered PSD mockup templates for Photoshop. Its resources cover clothing, books, magazines, devices and other presentation contexts, with editable artwork, text or colour elements depending on the selected file.
MockupFree labels paid resources Premium beside the free downloads. Its PSD catalogue includes packaging and clothing, with less common objects such as payment terminals, optical drives and baseball jackets.
The free metallic-mug set contains three views: upright, raised and floating. The page describes Photoshop editing through artwork placeholders, with adjustments to the backdrop, gloss and shadows. It also labels the download Attribution Required.
Free files can be used in personal and commercial projects with credit. Web and social uses require a link; printed uses require the stated MockupFree.co credit. Paid licensing removes attribution, and Ultimate adds unlimited downloads, faster delivery and an ad-free site. Downloaded paid files remain usable after cancellation. Neither licence allows passing on the editable files or bundling them for resale.
Strengths
- Free and Premium labels identify access before opening each resource.
- Paid downloads remain usable after subscription cancellation.
Watch out for
- Free downloads require attribution, including on printed uses.
- Editable PSD files cannot be distributed to other people.
