What it does
Directory Mockups is a mockup shop with collections for devices, print and outdoor displays. It offers individual products, collections and a browser editor, with some resources including video and artist collaborations.
Directory sells coordinated photo collections and individual scenes, including artist collaborations. Its BL53 iPhone 17 Pro product combines a 6000 × 4000 pixel PSD with a 24-second After Effects composition and several horizontal or vertical video arrangements. Still and video files therefore have different editing requirements.
For a purchased PSD, the guide identifies the green Your design here Smart Object. Open it, insert and save the artwork, then adjust opacity or effects and export from Photoshop. Creating a store account is optional; order links arrive by email. Directory Plus provides a browser route with watermarked previews and paid full-quality rendering, but its page conflicts over whether a subscription includes any PSD downloads.
Standard licensing covers personal portfolios and client presentations, not advertising or resale. Commercial licences cover one project or campaign; the purchaser must choose the tier for the relevant company's size, including a client's size when buying for that client. Browser subscription access does not by itself include those commercial upgrades.
Strengths
- Collections connect several objects through one visual setting.
- A browser-editing route is offered alongside individual products.
Watch out for
- Photoshop and After Effects files need different software and workflows.
- The Plus page gives conflicting statements about included PSD downloads.
- Commercial use requires a separate licence for the relevant project and company size.
Best for
- Presentations combining devices, print and environmental graphics
