What it does
Mockup World is a curated directory of mockups from independent creators. Readers browse product or device categories, open a detail page and follow its download link to the original source.
Select a category such as Signs & Billboards, then open View Details to check the file type and scene. The Rounded Square Hanging Sign listing, for example, specifies a 5000 × 4000 px PSD with a replaceable sign layer and adjustable background color. Free Download takes you to the creator's website.
For a typical PSD Smart Object mockup:
- Open the downloaded PSD in Photoshop or another compatible editor.
- Double-click the artwork placeholder's Smart Object thumbnail.
- Place and size your design, removing the sample artwork as needed.
- Save that document, return to the main scene and export a JPG or PNG.
Browsing the directory is free and needs no account. Download requirements, attribution and commercial permissions depend on the creator. Permission to publish a finished mockup does not automatically permit handing over or reselling its source file.
