What it does

Moneybook is a Taiwan personal-finance app for bank balances, spending records and bill reminders on iOS and Android. It brings supported bank, card, EasyCard and electronic-invoice activity together. Both synchronization and manual bookkeeping now require a paid subscription and a Moneybook account.

A card purchase, an EasyCard fare and a bank debit can otherwise end up in separate histories. Moneybook imports supported activity, applies categories and shows spending trends. The current service focuses on banks, insurance and everyday bills; securities-account synchronization has stopped.

Keep the right accounts in a budget

Budget controls sit below 收支 (Income and expenses) on the 分析 (Analysis) page. After linking another account, edit the budget's account selection so its transactions are included. A manually added account must use the 資產 (Asset) type to count toward a budget, and a disabled account is excluded.

An account shown in grey supports balance synchronization only. Moneybook uses information from the provider's desktop website, so the available account details can differ from those in the bank's mobile app.

Subscription access

The subscription costs $149 per month or $690 per year through December 31, 2026. From January 1, 2027, the announced annual price becomes $1,499, while the monthly price remains $149. These are the local prices published for Moneybook's Taiwan service.

Open 我的 (My) and select the top banner to view the subscription options. Access follows the Moneybook login across devices; the phone number or email must be able to receive a one-time verification code.

Strengths

  • CSV exports include transaction categories, tags, amounts and dates
  • An account can be used on multiple devices without a device-count limit

Watch out for

  • The app cannot be used offline
  • An individual bank account cannot be shared separately with another Moneybook user

Best for

  • Taiwan residents consolidating bank activity and everyday payment records
