What it does
Monoova provides Australian payment infrastructure for receiving payments, managing reconciliation and sending domestic or international payouts. Finance teams can use its Client Portal, while developers can connect an API, a software interface for automating payments. An approved account and identity checks are required, with fees agreed for the services you use.
Monoova's Automatcher gives each customer a distinct account number for incoming payments. These numbers identify payments; they are not separate bank accounts holding each customer's balance. The money reaches your main mAccount, with reporting that shows who paid.
The Client Portal is useful when finance staff need to act without building an integration. Sign in with the details Monoova supplies, view balances and transactions, create payments or upload a direct-entry batch, send payments through the approval workflow, then download statements.
Payment links and account setup
Developers can register an account with the Payment Links service, enable cards or PayTo, and generate a link to send with an invoice. After payment, the customer returns to your chosen page and your system receives an automatic notification. Link settings include payer details, branding, immediate card capture or authorisation only, and expiry. The default expiry is 24 hours. Sandbox card and PayTo access also need Monoova's authorisation.
Opening the service requires an application, identity checks and acceptance of the relevant fee schedule. Ask the Growth team for pricing: live-service charges accumulate in a separate fee account and are collected from your nominated bank account monthly.
