What it does
Moon FM provides listening apps for mobile and desktop systems with subscription importing.
Move a library through OPML when trying the app rather than recreating each subscription by hand. Cross-device sync uses a self-hosted service and requires setup, so it is a different commitment from a ready-made cloud account. Choose that workflow only if maintaining the sync service fits the listening setup.
Strengths
- Subscription import
- Mobile and desktop clients
Watch out for
- Cross-device sync requires self-hosted setup
Best for
- Listeners comfortable maintaining their own synchronisation service
