What it does
Mota Italic publishes retail fonts and custom type work across several writing systems. Its catalog includes experimental and beta designs alongside established families and the free Mota Pixel fonts.
Use Find By Script to narrow the catalog, then check whether a design is a finished release or marked beta. Devanagari, Kannada, Hebrew and other options lead to particular families, whose own pages determine the actual coverage. Retail trial files are heavily reduced and may omit styles, so they cannot answer every language or feature question.
Mota Pixel is a separate free production family under the SIL Open Font License. Its Light, Regular and Bold designs have many layer variants, with Latin, Greek and Cyrillic support. The zero-price Desktop + Web + Embedding option goes through the shop cart; the download contains OTF files, including the basic designs and their layers. Use the Size, Height and Space controls to preview the lettering before choosing it for a project.
For the paid catalog, Personal desktop licensing excludes business branding and advertising. Apps are licensed per major version, and ebooks per title or magazine issue. Completed paid orders receive an email download link; My Account keeps previous purchases and later font updates available. Full-time students can also request a discount on Desktop licensing.
