What it does
Mountain Duck mounts server and cloud storage into the desktop file manager and synchronizes selected files for offline work.
Choose this approach when a desktop application needs to open remote files through an ordinary folder. Mountain Duck downloads files on demand, can keep selected folders offline and uploads changes in the background when a connection becomes available. Version 5's integrated mode uses macOS File Provider and Windows Cloud Files. Watch the status icons or Activity panel before handing off an edited document: saving locally and completing its upload are separate stages. The published trial downloads require macOS 13 or later or Windows 10 or later; bring your own server or cloud storage.
