mSecure's custom templates are useful when a record needs more structure than a username and password. A software-license entry and a bank reference need different fields; defining those fields can make the vault easier to search later. The current site also describes passkeys and built-in two-factor codes. Begin with one record type you use repeatedly and decide which details should appear in a filter. The advertised starting access is a 30-day trial, so it should not be mistaken for an established permanent free tier.
