What it does
Mt Pelerin delivers card or bank-funded crypto purchases to a wallet you specify. It also converts crypto back to bank money, swaps supported assets and moves them between supported networks. You can use an existing wallet or its Bridge Wallet app, whose recovery phrase remains your responsibility.
Buy into the wallet you choose
In the buy widget, select card or bank transfer, the cryptocurrency, payment currency and amount. Sign in or create a profile, enter the receiving wallet address and complete the offered address-verification step. The payment instructions then show how to fund that purchase.
For repeated bank purchases to the same wallet, Mt Pelerin keeps the payment details fixed. You can use those details in a standing order at your bank. Choose the supported asset and network carefully before arranging repeated transfers.
Identity checks affect delivery time
A phone number and email address are required for the standard unverified profile. Across buys, sales and swaps, the unverified allowance is CHF 999 over a rolling 30 days. Mt Pelerin can request identification below that limit as well.
Unverified bank-funded purchases have a seven-day delivery hold after payment arrives. The exchange rate is set on receipt, rather than at the end of the hold. Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay purchases require identity verification first. Verified users can access higher transaction limits, subject to further checks.
Exchange charges and payment costs
The standard schedule waives exchange fees on the first CHF 500 of annual bank-funded purchases. The next published volume band, CHF 501 to CHF 5,000, charges 1.3%. The applicable band is applied to the whole transaction, rather than splitting it across thresholds.
Card purchases have their own schedule: 2.5% in the first annual band and 3.8% in the next, with a CHF 1.20 minimum. Payment and delivery costs also depend on the route. Check the quote for your currency, network and method; the small bank-purchase allowance does not make every payment method free.
Availability and wallet use
The terms require legal capacity. US persons, Russian citizens and residents of the listed unsupported countries cannot become clients. Check the full list when assessing eligibility, including the detailed US-person definition.
Bridge Wallet can receive assets from other wallets or exchanges on its supported networks. Select the network, open the asset and choose Add to obtain the receiving address. Sending or swapping later requires the relevant network's fee currency in that wallet.
